What you will do?

Join us to learn, prepare and share a traditional homecooked meal in a real Cuban household, as if you were a member of the family.
You will also get the chance to talk and learn about the culture and everday life in Cuba. We love to share our different perspectives and way of thinking about the cuban society.

1. When guests arrive, we serve homemade organic fruit and juice.
2. Guests start to prepare fresh ingredients and join our cooking process.
3. When we finish cooking, everyone gathers around the table for a nice family meal.
4. We love to have our guests feel like home, so we end the experience with some cuban coffee and some desserts.
Other things to note
Please let us know in advance if you have food allergies or other dietary requirements.
Taxi or other transportation can also be booked at least one day before the experience.

Where you will be?

We will be in a small apartment in Cayo Hueso (Key West), Centro Habana.
This part of the city is overlooked by most visitors, but it’s here where you will get to see the real everyday life, with it’s own charm and mesmerizing streetlife.

    About your host, Eduardo

BS in computer sciences, culinary enthusiast

I am born and raised in Havana and have lived all my 29 years here with my family. Growing up with my mother and aunt, cooking together has always been an important part of the day.
Everything from sourcing the ingredients, to helping in the kitchen, to finally sharing a family meal around the table. Even in hard times with less, we always prioritized this and that’s where my passion for food comes from.

Now, I would like to invite you to my family’s home for a traditional and unique cooking experience – to learn about the traditional cuban cuisine, but also to experience the warmth of the cuban family and share a glimpse of how the everyday life is like in Cuba.
