Basic Spanish Course

Learn Spanish in 30 lessons for 280 usd

General description

This online Spanish Course A1 is designed for beginners who want to learn Spanish from scratch. It offers a clear and complete grammatical basis for acquiring some basic knowledge of Spanish.

During the course the four main skills in language learning will be developed: listening comprehension, oral production, reading comprehension, written production. For this, basic grammar and vocabulary will be studied.

Learning objectives

The student must be able to:

  • Listen to – Listening comprehension
    Recognize very basic words and expressions that are commonly used, relating to himself, his family and his immediate surroundings when speaking slowly and clearly.
  • Speak – Oral expression
    Use simple expressions and phrases to describe where he lives and the people he knows. He can easily engage in a conversation as long as the other person is willing to repeat what he/she has said or to say it in other words and at a slower speed. Answer simple questions about very common topics.
  • Read – Reading comprehension
    Understand familiar words and names and very simple phrases; for example on signs, posters and catalogs.
  • Write – Written expression
    Be able to write short and simple postcards, for example to send congratulations. Know how to fill out forms with personal data; for example name, nationality, and address on a hotel registration form.

 

Course length

The course has a total of 30 lessons of 30min each. The last lesson is a level test to assess the knowledge of Spanish acquired. This is a test based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

*The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard used worldwide to define language skills for students. Havana Traces courses and tests are prepared according to the skills and content included in the CEFR.

General description

This Spanish Course for Holidays and Trips I is designed for all those who like to travel and need basic Spanish on their trips.
Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to enjoy a vacation without language barrier. In addition, you can understand tourist brochures, request information, have simple conversations with Spanish-speaking people, make reservations, ask for the address, etc.

For this course, it is necessary to have a basic level of Spanish A1, so you have to take a level test.

Course length

This course contains 24 lessons with dialogues, texts and a wide variety of interactive exercises with which you can learn and deepen your knowledge. Each lesson contains a vocabulary section with the essential words and expressions to be able to communicate clearly and naturally.

The lessons comprise the following aspects:

  • Grammar
    Grammatical explanations translated into English and Spanish.
  • Dialogues
    Texts with audio about the different situations that can be found on a trip.
  • Exercises
